Normann Copenhagen

Normann Copenhagen is a Danish brand which was established in 1999, it focuses on a growing collection of lighting , furniture, home accessories and textiles. Founded by Andersen and Poul Madsen, they set out on a mission to create products which were both contemporary and inventive but at the same time, would last in a home or an office for years to come.

The brand from Denmark wanted to revamp style: ordinary, everyday objects could become something spectacular that would not be simply used but admired, too. After all, decorating should not be a chore, it should be a pleasure and a way to express yourself.

'Balloon' vase

Inspired by a famous Danish landmark – the Tivoli Gardens Ferris Wheel – this ‘Balloon’ vase in a warm caramel shade is made from hand-blown glass to create its unique and spherical shape. Perfect for filling with flowers or simply left empty as a decorative element, it works its magic when placed alone but can also be paired with other pieces from the collection to create a feature display.

'Brilliant' box

This ‘Brilliant’ box in the colour turquoise is taken from Normann Copenhagen’s ‘Brilliant’ series and is inspired by gems and precious stones. 'Shorebird', oak

Designed by Icelandic designer and crime writer Sigurjón Pálsson, this ‘Shorebird’ figure depicting a bird is made of oak and features black steel legs. Part of the ‘Shorebird’ series, they are elegant additions to a mantlepiece, shelf or coffee table. Combine them with other series for a full flock or let them stand alone – great for any kind of interior design.

'Krenit' bowl

This 'Krenit' bowl by Normann Copenhagen is the definition of simplicity that at the same time, is striking. Introduced in 1953, it has lived through the years as a practical feature for putting snacks and also on its own as a decoration. Made of steel with a diameter of 250mm, the colour contrasts make it stand out.

'Pebble' board

Designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen’s ‘Pebble’ collection – boards and utensils created for cutting cheese – this ‘Pebble’ board is made from black marble that is deeply veined. The perfect board for a party or small gathering, it can hold cheese platters and various snacks and is easily transported from room to room thanks to the neat slot for placing your finger in when picking it up.
