Designed by Icelandic designer and crime writer Sigurjón Pálsson for Normann Copenhagen, the 'Shorebird' series combines a stylised silhouette with a spirited expression for a collection of decorative birds that will suit any interior style. Hewn from oak and featuring black steel legs, the bird appears mid-step, its elongated neck cutting a distinct line and its beak downwardly bent. The result is an elegant piece that is almost sculptural and can be combined with other figures from the series for a full flock.
