The world renowned interior designer Nini Andrade Silva has teamed up with Bordello Pinheiro to develop the 'Banana Madeira' collection. Here, the island's iconic banana trees are celebrated through a series of ceramic tableware pieces in which their dark wrinkled barks, large verdant leaves and delicate stems are painstakingly recreated for a tropical dining table setup. This large fruit bowl forms one part of the award winning collection, which in 2020 won both a German Design Award and the Iconic Awards' Innovative Interior category.
