Created for Audo Copenhagen, developed from uniting MENU and by Lassen, by stylist Colin King, the 'Surround Vase' is a vessel crafted from a single piece of solid mango wood. Distinct for its oversized and bulbous form, the vase presents a surface area that puts the nuances of the wood's natural grain front and center for a real spotlight on nature that is further enhanced by placing stems — fresh or dried — inside. In order to protect the interior wood, it is advised that a smaller glass container is placed inside before inserting stems.
