Together, Dominic Plueer and Olivier Smitt form PlueerSmitt, a design collective dedicated to challenging the assumptions and perceptions of basic everyday products. It is the mission of the two Swiss designers to encourage imagination and erode preconceived notions and rituals.
The intended result is the emboldening of a product’s material presence — usually small scale furniture and objects — and allowing users to experience items in a fresh manner.
