Naessi Studio drew heavy inspiration from the many meanings of the word 'weft' to create this vase for Ichendorf Milano. Threads of fabric and their interweaving to create something bigger is layered with an appreciation of the weft of work, and the creation of a narrative. In 'Trame' this comes to life via a simple matrix of linear glass bars that cross the neck of a borosilicate glass vase. The result is an interaction with any floral arrangements placed inside, allowing the vase to become much more than a passive container of the flowers, but rather an active participant in their display and beauty.
