'Kami' vase, mini, bone white

The kinetic 'Kami' vase, which captures the movement and texture of crisp, crumbled paper bags, pays homage to Japanese paper art. Drawing its name from the Japanese word for ‘paper bag’, the irregular lines and edges of the 'Kami' vase are enhanced by a tactile, cracked surface texture. The effects of touch on fine paper are artfully recalled in this handmade ceramic piece designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen. Seemingly fixed in motion, the mini 'Kami' vase is hand-glazed, producing a uniquely matte finish. This waterproof design can be used for fresh floral displays or as standalone centerpiece. Made artisanally, from entirely natural material, each vase is unique, which may result in some variation in color.
