The Jesture series is a continuation of photographer and designer Martyn Thompson's collaboration with UK-based ceramic specialists 1882 Ltd. Drawing on a lively carnival landscape and introducing a new body of work from Thompson, the collection merges stacked vessels, oversized hand thrown vases and striking planters for a lineup that is romantic, ethereal and abstract all at once. This version of the 'Jesture Rosebud' vessel presents a bottom heavy fine bone china vase emblazoned with an uneven distribution of hand applied squares in navy against an off-white background.
