With a name that loosely translates to sprout or shoot in French, 'Bourgeon' is a vase by 101 Copenhagen that places an emphasis on the growth of plants placed inside. Voluminous, simple and minimalistic, the multifunctional vessel is defined by a removable upper platform that lifts the plant half a meter from the floor, and can be adjusted to form a variety of styles. Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the vase is not waterproof and presents its own unique variations in tone and texture due to its handmade nature.
