Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl for 101 Copenhagen, the petit sized 'Arket' plant pot is equal parts sculpture and vessel. Characterized by a series of vertical lines that protrude from the base body for an undulating surface that offers a contrast between light and shadow, the organically shaped pot is accompanied by a saucer to catch water. As well as assisting drainage, a hole in the bottom of the pot also facilitates air flow for plants placed inside while the use of waterproof fiber concrete for both components ensures a long-lasting and hardworking vessel.
