Historic Portuguese ceramic brand Bordallo Pinheiro has joined forces with Brazilian NGO Ecoarts Amazônia to create the 'Amazónia' collection — a series of earthenware pieces that honor the Amazon rainforest. Taking inspiration from the region's ecosystems, the award winning collection presents pieces like this vase, a reflection of the Amazon's rich local flora, traditions, colors, sounds and smells. A portion of the proceeds of the collection will be dedicated to the reforestation of the cities, rural areas and indigenous villages of Mato Grosso, where Ecoarts Amazônia is based.
