'Brera' bench

One of the most interesting and versatile pieces from the portfolio of Guglielmo Ulrich has been reissued by Poltrona Frau and unsurprisingly meets the brand's renown for items that offer just as much value in sensory attributes as in functionality. Here, an elevated tactility is offered by way of a series of wide 2mm-thick straps that are interwoven along the length of the seat. With each length of leather hand decorated with a geometric motif, the result is a bench that is both contemporary and sophisticated. A moka stained solid ash wood base provides support and stability, further enhanced by constant-density polyurethane foam padding.
