'Ren' bookcase, low

Inspired by the Chinese ideogram 'Ren', which translates to 'person', Neri & Hu's 'Ren' series for Poltrona Frau was conceived keeping in mind all the realities and nuances of human interaction. As such, this low bookcase will suit a multitude of spaces in the house, thanks to a marriage of ingenious suspensions and clever balances. Fine materials by way of plywood shelves upholstered in saddle-leather and a Canaletto walnut veneer on the sides are brought together with artisan techniques for a unit that is fixed to the wall using metal hooks with a natural brass finish. A round multi-purpose tray upholstered in saddle leather, which hangs from the upper crosspiece, is a chic finishing touch.
