'AJ' floor lamp, white, US plug

Emanating an ultra-modern mood over half a century since its inception, the 'AJ' floor lamp is an iconic statement in lighting design. Created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, the lamp first appeared in the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957 as part of a lighting story told throughout the hotel by world-renowned architect and designer Arne Jacobsen. Radiating personality, and recalling the geometric contours of Jacobsen buildings, the white version of this prominent feature light — whose shade can be tilted to adjust light distribution — adds a graphic, forward-focused feel to any space.
