The stylized face of opera singer Lina Cavalieri — infinitely reimagined across a range of collectible objects for Fornasetti — features on this fine porcelain 'Nel Mentre' small scented candle through a single defining feature. The 'Bocche' decor focuses solely on Cavalieri's red lips as a symbol of passion and temptation. The design's shapely lid features a coiled serpent with a red apple in its mouth. The associated 'Frutto Proibito' fragrance is characterized by heady florals and bold citruses, with aphrodisiac notes. Anise, blood orange and sicilian grapefruit give way to vanilla, cuban cedar and rosewood atop a base of jasmine, mexican tuberose and ylang ylang.
