Based in Mantua, Italy, Alessandro Zambelli founded the eponymous Alessandro Zambelli Design Studio in 2003. Amongst the designer's many partnerships with brands that include Diamantini & Domeniconi, Disaronno, Rudi Rabitti and Skitsch, Zambelli's collaboration with Seletti is perhaps
his most longstanding, dating back to 2006. The recipient of multiple awards, such as the European Consumers Choice award and an NYIGF award, Zambelli is also co-founder of Padiglione Italia, a designers’ collective seeking to present the specifics of the Italian design scene.
