Trained in painting and ceramics, Pietro Russo has had a varied career that spans film set and interior design, as well as a long term collaboration with Lissoni Associati. Today he helms his own practice, set up in 2010, focusing on interior and product design. Here, the designer's passion for the scenery of interior architectural spaces and a recovery of traditional crafts is brought to life.
The production processes of such handicrafts are observed and translated into Russo's own language, often in collaboration with Italian artisans — the result being a series of wholly unique objects.
