Renowned for designing sculptural furniture often crafted from a single piece of wood, Danish architect Peter Karpf has a special place in mid-century design. A former apprentice of Fritz Hansen, Karpf has worked with names like Grete Jalk and Arne Jacobsen, and is known for his creative exploration of seating solutions, though his most enduring designs are his candlesticks, moulded plywood chairs, and light fixtures, which have all become Danish classics.
