Best known as being one of the founding members of the Memphis group, Milan-based painter and designer Nathalie Du Pasquier is renowned for her bold applications of colour. The French artist — who up until 1986 designed textiles, carpets, furniture and objects for the Memphis group — fully focused her attention on painting in 1987, producing pieces that celebrate vibrant colour, geometric shapes and pattern.
