Belgian-born former model Michaël Verheyden studied industrial design at Genk's Media & Design Academy and worked for Raf Simons before starting his own company in his home town of Genk in 2002. He uses classic materials such as marble, leather, wood and brass to produce elegant, minimalist home accessories and handbag collections, and is increasingly called upon by architects to create pieces for hotels, restaurants and private spaces.
