Following graduation from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan having studied Industrial Design, Okinawa-born designer Kensaku Oshiro worked with a number of practices in the city, which culminated in him joining the design team of Lissoni Associati studio where he worked up until 2012. Following a short stint in London with BarberOsgerby, Oshiro returned to Milan in 2015
and opened his own studio. Participation in multiple exhibitions and competitions followed, leading to a number of prestigious international awards that have included the 2006 Salone Satellite Design Report Award, the 2012 Cristalplant Design Contest award and the Gandia Blasco Design Contest award.
