Following graduation from the Design Academy, Eindhoven, in 1988, Dutchman Bertjan Pot launched his career as a designer alongside Daniel With under the alias The Monkey Boys. Pot later established his own studio in 2003, focusing on furniture and furnishings, paying special attention to the technological research of materials, patterns, color palettes, and the textures of fabrics.
Fusing organic creativity with industrial production methods inspired by technical research, Pot's unique approach to furniture design has seen him collaborate with the likes of Established & Sons, Moooi and the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen.
