With a career defined by a long and successful partnership with Italian ceramics manufacturer Bitossi Ceramiche, Aldo Londi is known for his numerous ceramic designs, which span jugs and vases to clocks and animal figurines. Londi's long-term collaboration with Bitossi Ceramiche started when the designer was just eleven years old, and enabled his best-known collection — the iconic
1950s-era Rimini Blu series (1955-1965), which includes over 150 designs. Additional collaborations with Italian luminaries such as Ettore Sottsass, Piero Fornasetti, Matteo Thun and Karim Rashid cemented the designer's reputation as one of the nation's most adaptive creatives. Londi's work can also be viewed at the MAIB–Artistic Industrial Bitossi Museum in Montelupo.
