Born in the Netherlands, the son of Droog co-founder Gijs Bakker and jewellery designer Emmy van Leersum, Aldo Bakker is a unique designer who follows the path of form over function, creating infinitely beautiful pieces whose purpose may not always be immediately recognisable.
His fascination with life’s rituals and desire to elevate them shines through in his sculptural tableware collection for Georg Jensen.
