Known for its specialism in timeless textiles that merge tradition, experimentation and emotion, Italian brand House of Lyria made its debut into the world of interiors in 2021. Helmed by founder Riccardo Bruni, the brand is based in the Tuscan city of Prato from where rich designs are created, inspired by everything from Bruni's travels and memories of his grandparents’ linens to the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi and nature.
Led by an intrinsic essence of structure and substance, the brand often works with a host of natural fibers such as wool, linen and cotton, to which a multitude of unexpected techniques are merged with traditional processes and the manual skills of artisans. The result is a collection of throws, cushions and fabrics in muted natural hues that seem to nod to the past while simultaneously injecting spaces with a sense of freshness.
