Lorenzi Milano, previously Cedes Milano, was founded by Giovanni Lorenzi in 1929, originating among the mountains surrounding a valley in Trentino. He opened his own shop in Montenapoleone in Milan, G. Lorenzi, which specialised in cutlery and grinding in order to fulfil the requests of demanding and stylish clients. Over the years he expanded his business with the help of his wife and children, offering original and high quality products, as well as custom-made items on demand.
Lorenzi Milano has since remained a family business, today headed by Mauro Lorenzi. Mauro, a member of the family’s third generation, has created his own brand following on from the original consolidated track. He regularly updates Lorenzi Milano with the help of his children, identifying objects in line with current trends.
For over 50 years the brand have been providing to lovers of knives, beard accessories and smoking items. The three generations that have come together to continue Lorenzi Milano’s legacy are united by a single objective: customer satisfaction. The Via Ponte Vetero workshop is where innovation, training and passion takes place in the art of sharpening to safeguard and preserve designs. The products are now all made in the Via Morimondo workshop by experienced artisans. Materials such as, horn, bamboo, wood and mother of pearl are selected for their special character and items are designed to be long lasting and grow old together with the people that bought them and where possible pass them on to future generations.
