Luxurious and Functional Home Décor
L’Objet specialises in fine tableware, home accessories and home décor, often incorporating semi-precious stones and metals that are combined with artisan techniques. The outcome is items that are modern while at the same time influenced by ancient crafts.
L’Objet was founded by Elad Yifrach, an interior designer and lifelong traveller with a passion for the Mediterranean, its culture and traditional craft methods. Yifrach’s designs pay homage to the works produced by great Mediterranean artisans and at the same time he blends these traditional methods with innovative techniques and new materials. Most prominent is his use of porcelain.
Yifrach approached some of the world’s most famous workshops to work together on a new vision. While it took many months of trial and error, the final designs were undoubtedly bold and unique, rich in timeless detail and tradition. His first pieces earned him respect among craftsmen and a loyal global following thanks to the high quality of the designs. In 2004, he presented his first prototype to Bergdorf Goodman, who immediately placed an order and so began L’Objet.
L’Objet uses one of a kind craftsmanship to make luxurious and functional works of art. Every piece has been made by the hands of a master and formed to the highest standards of material selection and creativity. For many collections, hand-applied techniques and complex layering with different golds are used to achieve unprecedented brilliance and colour. For metal pieces L’Objet’s craftsmen draw from fine jewellery making techniques, using sterling silver for exceptional durability. As a result of exceptional craftsmanship L’Objet has become one of the most innovative and fastest growing companies in the luxury goods sector.
