A graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven, Alexa Lixfeld launched her brand in 2007 with a focus on creating non-industrial, non-standard, non-exploitative, individually approved goods. Now a design studio, consultancy and production company based in Hamburg, Lixfeld's eponymous brand is known for its thoughtful merger of traditional production techniques with extraordinary, one-off items that are created with integrity.
In addition to the brand's pieces being available in international boutiques and stores, Lixfeld's creations can also be found on display in design galleries and exhibitions.
