Having studied in Milan, Istanbul and New York, Sara Ricciardi graduated in Product Design at the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan in 2015. At the same time, the young designer established her own eponymous studio in Milan where products are created for a range of companies, galleries, performances and installations. Frequently collaborating with Italian artisans to realise the
in-depth narrative exploration that leads every concept, Ricciardi's aesthetic is informed by a pre-design process of extensive poetic and formal research. One of Wallpaper's 2018 finalists for the Next Designer Generation award, Ricciardi additionally teaches at NABA and the Domus Academy as well as holding regular workshops.
